Under the general supervision of the Director or Site Supervisor, the Housekeeper/Maintenance has the primary responsibility for cleaning the center in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection.

Under the general supervision of the Director or Site Supervisor, the Housekeeper/Maintenance has the primary responsibility for cleaning the center in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection.
Essential Functions:
- This position is part time ; 2 hours a day after 4pm
- Follows and completes the center's daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule.
- Conducts facilities checklists to oversee and meet all local, state, and federal building requirements.
- Promptly addresses and reports health and safety concerns.
- Performs light general maintenance throughout the building.
- Participates in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as requested
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalency with custodial training preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills commensurate with the position's responsibilities are required.
- FDNY certification: F07, S95 and F01or study plan to obtain within60 days of hire.
