The Child Care Learning Academy is a Group Family Daycare in Rochester, NY.
We are looking for caring and compassionate childcare assistants to join our team. We are a well-respected childcare center in Rochester, NY and we are looking to expand our team! We are looking for caring, patient and compassionate individuals who love kids and families.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for teaching, inspiring, and educating our children. Hours: between 8:30am- 4:30pm/ Monday- Friday. Federal holidays OFF.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for the children
- Assisting with children's development by implementing activities and games that promote physical, mental, social, and emotional growth
- Leading play groups that the children can participate in
- Communicating with parents about the children’s development and progress
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the classroom
- Maintaining a positive attitude and a role model for the children
- Encouraging parent feedback to help us improve our services to our children
- Collaborating with co-workers to create a fun and safe environment for the children
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- A Childcare assistant must have reliable transportation. Applicants must have a clean criminal background as background checks are conducted during application process. We also consider candidates with experience in any other areas of Rochester, NY such as: Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary, etc. We will train if you do not have such experience.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required. We will train anyone to work with the children.
Compensation: starting rate of pay $17.00 per hour. Full Time & Part Time. Weekly Pay Periods.
Candidates MUST have their own vehicle with reliable source of transportation.
Candidates MUST enjoy working with children.
