Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Control the temperature of water amounts of soap solution, and other chemicals to clean but not damage equipment or laundry.
- Extract and dry washed linens.
- Collect soiled linens. Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
- Mark linens for proper identification.
- Maintain a clean and orderly laundry room and linen storage areas.
- Report equipment malfunctions to the Director of Facility Services or management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Capable of standing and walking throughout the workday
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks and ability to regulate and maintain workflow
- Pleasant personality and patience exhibited while interacting with residents, guests, and team members
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English
