We are a family based business that is growing so quickly, we need talented and ambitious people to help us out now. We have 2 B&B's a block apart.

If YES was your answer, then you're going to love this opportunity at our Famous 5 Star B&B from the movie Groundhog Day... Yep, that right, campers! I said Groundhog Day! So thousands of people tour the property & stay each year, Our guests are just fantastic, fans and non-fans alike. We have been featured on a travel tv show and an upcoming Christmas movie too. You'll meet the neatest people here!

Your base of operation kitchen looks like a home cooking show set and very well could be used for a YouTube channel. There is flexibility and the opportunity to grow this into something bigger and better with the right person in the kitchen. Cookware & Knife allowances will get you off to the right start. You can reorganize to fit your needs.

We have the ability to get an additional license & open up evenings for a Farm to Table Dinner experiences, cooking classes, Family meal-prep if everything goes to plan.

We have a close relationship with the farmers in the area for the best quality local ingredients, The Farmer's Markets are our main places to shop.

Here is a breakdown of what to expect: Breakfast for up to 20 and Family Meal Prep & Clean-up

Lori will be in the kitchen! As I've been the be all and end all of the food our guests have enjoyed for over 5 years, it might take some time for me to let go completely. I love the kitchen and bringing joy to my guests through food. I'd love to share with you some of our big hits so you can weave them into your menu too. My hope is to only cook 2-3 days a week when you're off.

Menu planning, budget management, & shopping will be a team effort.

  • Daily hours 7-11am. Breakfast Is served at 9am Then Meal Prep to 2pm as needed for our personal needs.
  • Creative freedom to enhance your talents & interests with our experience.
  • Flexible time off schedule with a total of 3 weeks off a year.
  • Paid time off after 6 months that you control for sick, personal or vacation days
  • Growth opportunities and management
  • Small events and weddings are bonus pay
  • Off hours use of the kitchen for personal private chef projects possible

What we’re looking for in a candidate:

  • a minimum of 3 years’ experience cooking in a scratch restaurant kitchen
  • a culinary degree is preferred, but comparable experience can substitute
  • a passion for food, a large repertoire of classic breakfast dishes, baking and self-motivation to learn new recipes.
  • Reliable transportation. Live in opportunity for the right person.
  • Smart phone to track guests needs on our booking engine
  • responsible attitude and good communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
