- Accurately enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication data.
- Communicate with prescribers and patients to clarify orders when needed.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and processing medication orders.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Support inventory management and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
- Previous experience in pharmacy order entry or retail pharmacy setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in pharmacy software and basic computer applications.
