Warehouse - Sanitation Worker

Summary: Clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas.. Maintain cleanliness of work space by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Prep Processing room for washingPower down machines using appropriate proceduresBreak down equipment for cleaning.Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing roomsUse high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140FUse proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS proceduresAbility to read labels for chemical identificationQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Math Ability:Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and/or weight measurement, volume, and distance.Ability to read film specificationsReasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
