With a commitment to freshness, traceability, and chef-focused service, Down East continues to bring the ocean’s bounty straight to the back of house.Night Porter would be 2AM-10AM, Monday-Saturday, and the pay range would be $18-20/hourPosition Summary: Maintains cleanliness in warehouse and office areas, if required. What you’ll do:Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.Gather and empty trash, consolidate trash for weekly pickup.Service, clean, and supply restrooms.Clean walls, racks and equipment.Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.Clean and restore building interiors using commercial cleaning equipment.Clean different surfaces using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals.Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.Must be experienced or able to get certified in operating a Rider Jack.About you:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.The above job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
