Position Summary: Responsible for maximizing production efficiency through effective item placement, warehouse analysis, and maintaining system related logic that affects production work.

What you’ll do:

• Placement of new items in the warehouse into location assignments with logical ti/hi and FIFO criteria.
• Maintain GMP practices, flammability considerations, commodity grouping, and special customer requirements.
• Analyze aisle movements and make necessary adjustments to enhance productivity & capacity.
• Perform maintenance moves as suggested by production workers, as well as those discovered through observation or analysis to reduce damage and improve ergonomics.
• Use item forecast information to assist shipping department with setting up sale/distro staging areas.
• Consistently maintain all location labels.
• Maintain production related system logic and suggest modifications as necessary.
• Balance efficiencies between shipping and receiving to maximize overall capacity & efficiency.
• Serve as liaison between warehouse and procurement to assist with dimensional issues, as well as description related issues.
• Monitor and manage WHS exception reports.
• Manage and communicate physical location repair issues.
• Assist management in quality related research (i.e., lift transactions, selection assignment issues, etc.)
• Create layout/environment that minimizes damage, and shrink, as well as contributing to reduction of both.

About you:

• Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving/analytical skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to handles multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail, solid judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Microsoft Office platform
• Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs. solo or greater weights in a team lift.
• Previous Warehouse Management (WMS) experience required.

Resumen del puesto: Responsable de maximizar la eficiencia de la produccin mediante la colocacin eficaz de los artículos, el análisis del almacén y el mantenimiento de la lgica relacionada con el sistema que afecta el trabajo de produccin.

Lo que harás:

• Colocacin de nuevos artículos en el almacén en asignaciones de ubicacin con criterios lgicos de ti/hi y FIFO.
• Mantener las prácticas de GMP, las consideraciones de inflamabilidad, la agrupacin de productos y los requisitos especiales de los clientes.
• Analizar los movimientos de los pasillos y realizar los ajustes necesarios para mejorar la productividad y la capacidad.
• Realizar movimientos de mantenimiento según lo sugerido por los trabajadores de produccin, así como aquellos descubiertos a través de la observacin o el análisis para reducir los daños y mejorar la ergonomía.
• Utilizar la informacin del pronstico de artículos para ayudar al departamento de envíos a configurar las áreas de preparacin de venta/distribucin.
• Mantener constantemente todas las etiquetas de ubicacin.
• Mantener la lgica del sistema relacionada con la produccin y sugerir modificaciones según sea necesario.
• Equilibrar las eficiencias entre el envío y la recepcin para maximizar la capacidad y la eficiencia generales.
• Actuar como enlace entre el almacén y las adquisiciones para ayudar con los problemas dimensionales, así como con los problemas relacionados con la descripcin.
• Supervisar y gestionar los informes de excepcin de WHS.
• Gestionar y comunicar los problemas de reparacin de la ubicacin física. Ayudar a la gerencia en la investigacin relacionada con la calidad (es decir, transacciones de elevacin, problemas de asignacin de seleccin, etc.)
• Crear un diseño/entorno que minimice los daños y las mermas, además de contribuir a la reduccin de ambos.

• Excelentes habilidades de matemáticas, lectura, comunicacin (verbal y escrita) y resolucin de problemas/análisis. Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente o en un entorno de equipo.
• Capacidad para manejar múltiples tareas.
• Atencin al detalle, buen criterio y habilidades para la toma de decisiones.
• Puede requerirse certificacin en montacargas.
• Plataforma Microsoft Office
• Capacidad para levantar/mover hasta 70 libras en solitario o pesos mayores en un equipo de elevacin.
• Se requiere experiencia previa en gestin de almacenes (WMS).
