Position Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and professional delivery of products to customers, clients, and business partners. As a representative of The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, this role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and care in handling high-quality, perishable goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customers
- Verify order accuracy before departure and upon delivery
- Maintain proper handling and temperature control of perishable items
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery
- Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes
- Load and unload products with care to prevent damage
- Communicate with store team regarding delivery status, delays, or issues
- Assist with in-store tasks during downtime (packing orders, stocking, light cleaning)
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of delivery vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out
- Food handling knowledge is a plus
- Authorized to work in the United States
