What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper position at The Chattooga Club?
The Chattooga Club is seeking a laundry attendant/housekeeper with a positive attitude, reliable transportation, and a keen eye for attention to detail. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. This candidate will preferably have experience in similar work environment.
Expectations and Essential Duties:
· Uphold standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by the law and the facility’s policies and procedures.
· Maintain a constructive, helpful attitude and promote a quality work environment.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in all facilities included but not limited to: Lodge and Lodge Rooms, Common Areas, Housekeeping Office and Laundry Room, Bathrooms, Back-of-the-House Common Areas, Life Enhancement Center and all facilities within including Fitness Rooms, Treatment Rooms, Common Areas, Offices, Kids Camp, Laundry Room, and any other areas as directed by administration.
· Perform a variety of duties on a daily and weekly basis according to the housekeeping schedule and based on seasonal demands. This includes but is not limited to: laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, ironing, and regularly sanitizing throughout the Club.
· Ensure all Lodge rooms are cleaned and sanitized to Club standards and adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety.
· Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when necessary - promptly notify manager if items need to be ordered.
· Take any lost and found items promptly to the Front Desk
· Notify managers of any damages or room issues requiring maintenance in a timely manner
· Maintain a friendly disposition and hospitality mindset, especially when interacting with guests and members.
· Report to work when scheduled, and on time.
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to lift items up to 30 lbs
· Some cleaning experience preferred
· Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members
· Must be able to be on feet all or most of the day
· Must be able to work around cleaning supplies and chemicals used to complete tasks
· Must have a reliable source of transportation to get to and from work
This is a seasonal position that does not include benefits.

Experience:
- Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
