The Chateau Waco is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Charge Nurse—LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse)—to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. - Provide clinical leadership by supervising nursing staff, assigning duties, and ensuring adherence to care protocols.
- Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and comprehensive physical examinations to inform treatment plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care efforts including medical documentation, medication administration, IV infusion procedures, and wound care such as suturing and catheterization.
- Manage patient flow in various settings such as inpatient units, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and emergency departments.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like PCC.
- Support discharge planning, case management activities, and facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Assist with infection control protocols, sterile processing techniques, and infection prevention measures to uphold safety standards.
- Current LVN or RN license in good standing; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
- Demonstrated experience in Skilled Nursing
- Strong background in medical-surgical nursing, emergency medicine, or hospital-based acute care with familiarity in ICD-9/10 coding and documentation standards.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including PCC; experience with medical imaging or laboratory processes is a plus. .
