Position Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair problems and/or failures in a wide variety of equipment (e.g. pumps, concrete mixers, walk behind saws, power tools, generators, trowels, concrete drills, etc.) to identify equipment and/or system repair and replacement needs.
- Clean, sharpen, and lubricate a variety of motorized equipment to ensure units are operating safely and correctly.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain tools and/or equipment to ensure the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
- Inform Service Manager regarding procedures and/or status of work.
- Coordinate with other mechanics to complete projects/work orders efficiently.
- Demonstrate proper equipment use for customer.
- Deliver and demonstrate equipment to customer on the job site.
- Assist in the setup of equipment on the job site as needed.
- Assist in general warehouse operations as needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Mechanical and electrical experience/knowledge
- Clean driving record
- Ability to maneuver tow behind trailers and equipment – Preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift. – Preferred
- High level of expertise and accuracy
- Responds well to customer and company needs.
- Works well under pressure
- Customer service oriented
