Supervisor
Chapin & Bangs is a leading steel service center, we are searching for a supervisor to oversee the daily warehouse and production operation. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience and be able to ensure that quality and safety standards are always maintained. Will co-ordinate all aspects of warehouse and production activities including direct supervision of warehouse employees. Must be able to adjust priorities throughout the day to meet delivery requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Works with supervisors to manage and prioritize staff to meet delivery requirements
- Reviewing and monitoring work to ensure productivity is maximized
- Following high priority orders to completion
- Managing, training, and coaching warehouse employees
- Ensure that all safety procedures are maintained
- Performs Quality Checks
Requirements:
- Highly motivated
- Very organized
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to embrace and implement change
- Team player
- Must have prior supervisory experience.
