What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at The Centers?
Assists Program Manager/Assistant Program Manager with the overall management of the program, 24 hours per day and ensures maintenance of the therapeutic milieu via staff management
- Oversee MHT’s and HT staff
- Develop and Maintain residential staff schedules
- Ensures that applicable staff complete annual mandatory in-services and receive annual physical and TB skin test when due.
- Assists in staff recruitment and retention strategies.
- Ensures integration of MHT process and daily living activities in implementation of care/treatment plan.
- Interprets and ensures implementation of behavior management policies and procedures, e.g., points, rewards, level system, etc.
- Ensures preservation of residents’ rights with respect to group living.
- Takes Call
- Responsible for hiring of MHT and HT positions
- Monitor attendance and call ins of staff
- Respond to staff leave requests.
- Oversees program schedule.
- Oversee new employee orientation of core and pool MHTs
- Completes time sheets.
- Develops and maintains an updated orientation curriculum for new hires
- In conjunction with team leader, completes annual and probationary evaluations for staff supervised.
- Facilitate joint AC/CC direct care meetings.
