We are now seeking a passionate, experienced, and visionary Managing Nurse Practitioner to lead and elevate psychiatric and advanced practice care at the heart of this transformative campus.

As the Associate Medical Director you will hold one of the most dynamic and impactful clinical leadership positions on the GRC campus. You will work directly with the Medical Director and Chair of Psychiatry to oversee and elevate all Nurse Practitioner services — and will step into the role of acting Medical Director when needed. This is a role for someone who leads from the front, loves working with people, and is deeply committed to meeting individuals in their most vulnerable moments with competence, compassion, and courage.

What We Are Looking For

• Master’s degree or above from an accredited school with appropriate training as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
• Current Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Current and unrestricted Ohio RN and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure required; compact licensure preferred where applicable.
• Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority required, as applicable under state and federal law.
• Must maintain all required professional licenses, certifications, and credentials in good standing.
• Has completed required training to prescribe medications for opiate use disorder

Experience

• Minimum of seven (7) years of practicing psychiatric nurse practitioner with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Minimum of five (5) years of prescriber experience in crisis services; experience behavioral health, psychiatric care, or substance use treatment required.
• Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or clinical management experience in behavioral health required.
• Experience supporting evidence-based psychiatric and addiction treatment services strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership and treatment oversight in crisis or behavioral health settings
