What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at The Center of Imaging Excellence?
The position is Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist. No Sundays. Please DO NOT call to check status of your resume, we will call you if interested. We would love a candidate with prior medical experience but are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival and provide excellent customer service
- Answer multi-line phones in fast pace environment
- Check patients in and obtain insurance information and any other data
- Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits
- Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments
- Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
Skills:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2 years’ experience in the medical field preferred
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
