Salary:
Starting at $17.60 an hour
About the Position:
Provide support to staff to maintain an organized, timely and productive flow of communication to and from all entities served by The Center for Youth and Family Solutions.
A Typical Day as a Clerical Assistant:
- Type and prepare reports and correspondence for staff.
- Answer telephone and take/deliver appropriate messages.
- Perform general office duties as assigned (i.e. copying, mail, greeting clients/visitors, scheduling, petty cash).
- With guidance and direction, assist with case record filing, case record set up, and archiving closed cases.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas.
- Maintain and order office supplies as necessary
- Make appropriate staff aware of any maintenance issues.
- Complete training in First Aid and CPR and maintain certification in both.

Work Hours:
9am to 5pm
Does the Following Apply to You?

Additional Qualifications:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain an insured vehicle
- At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
- Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure
