Role Description The PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, patient-centered nursing care in an on-site clinical setting located in Toccoa, GA. This part-time, as-needed role includes tasks such as performing patient assessments, administering medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. The LPN collaborates with registered nurses, providers, and other care team members to support treatment plans, respond to patient needs, and promote a safe, therapeutic environment. Responsibilities also include patient education, adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues. The LPN may assist with intake procedures, support crisis interventions within scope of practice, and contribute to quality improvement and best-practice initiatives.

Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia and completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Demonstrated clinical nursing skills in assessment, medication administration, and basic treatments within LPN scope of practice.
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide trauma-informed, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive care.
- Experience working in wellness, recovery, behavioral health, primary care, or related clinical settings is preferred.
- Ability to accurately document in electronic or paper medical records, follow protocols, and comply with all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work PRN, adapt to changing patient needs, and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification and familiarity with infection control, de-escalation techniques, and emergency procedures; advanced certifications are a plus.
