Role Description
This is a full-time, temporary position for a Registered Nurse based on-site in Somerset, NJ. The role involves providing compassionate nursing care to clients, monitoring client health, administering medication, and ensuring adherence to care plans. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including clinicians and peer specialists, to support clients' mental health and substance use recovery. The role further entails maintaining accurate medical records, managing clinical documentation, and educating clients about health and wellness practices aligned with CGE’s trauma-informed care model.
Qualifications
- RN degree from an accredited university with NJ license, CARN certification preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in nursing care services
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in residential treatment facility, alcohol or drug education and recovery preferred.
- Experience and comfort working within residential setting preferred.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with welcoming, professional, and team-player demeanor.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to be flexible to the daily changing needs within the community and to handle obstacles with compassion and resolve.
