The Residential Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing staffing schedules across multiple residential programs. This role ensures adequate coverage, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with organizational standards. The position will work closely with Residence Managers, AVPs, HR, and Vice President to address staffing needs and maintain operational efficiency.

- Create and maintain master schedules for residential programs, ensuring coverage for all shifts.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate vacancies, absences, and program needs.
- Collaborate with Residence Managers, AVPs, and HR to fill open shifts promptly.
- Ensure schedules comply with DDD and agency regulations.
- Review and validate staff schedules weekly for accuracy.
- Prepare reports on staffing coverage, overtime, and compliance metrics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries.
- Communicate schedule changes to staff and management in a timely manner.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
- Identify gaps and propose solutions to improve scheduling efficiency.
- Assist in implementing scheduling software or tools for better tracking.
- Networks with external organizations such as ABCD to keep the agency abreast of best practices in the field, as well as trends and changes in the service delivery environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business Administration or a related field required
- 2 years of experience in scheduling or workforce coordination, preferably in residential or healthcare settings
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in nonprofit or human services organizations is a plus.
