The Center for Educational Innovation (CEI) is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Arts Education Program Coordinator to support our arts education and enrichment programs. In this role, you will manage logistics, coordinate events, and work closely with teaching artists, schools, and community partners to bring high-quality arts programming to students across New York City. Responsibilities include:
The Program Coordinator will assist with the coordination of a virtual arts-integrated professional learning program that uses visual art and music to teach literacy and serves teachers of students with disabilities nationally. This individual will be responsible assisting with:
- Communication with participating teachers and staff teaching artists
- Scheduling, drafting agendas, and hosting programming on Zoom
- Ensuring that all documents are filed in shared Google Drive
- Curriculum development process
- Purchasing and shipping of art and music supplies
- Tracking Attendance and paid compensation to participants
- Tracking program expenses
- Planning and executing of an annual arts education conference
- Coordinating the digital repository of curricular materials
Skills required:
- Strong administrative experience
- Expertise with entire Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms, slides)
- Experience hosting meetings and events on Zoom with breakout rooms
- Expertise with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Sites)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong editor and proofreader
- Visual Art or Music Background preferred
Qualifications:
- Minimum BA or BS degree with experience
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience minimum

Compensation / Benefits
Annual Salary: $45,000-55,000
Benefits: Personal/Vacation, Health Insurance Option
Work Location: Hybrid (In-Person and Remote)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday 9AM-6PM
