The Outdoor Educator will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop meaningful outdoor learning opportunities that connect students to the environment through experiential, project-based, and vocational activities. This role supports the organization’s holistic SYNERGE6 framework, which emphasizes emotional regulation, energy regulation, environment, eating, education, and evidence-based practice, while fostering a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning environment for all students.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Environmental Science, Recreation, Outdoor Education, or a related field required
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or complex needs preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Passion for experiential learning, nature-based programming, and student engagement
