For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.
We are looking for a full time Medical Records Specialist to become part of our Clinical Department.
Responsibilities :
- Ensures the secure and confidential handling of all medical record information while monitoring the release of confidential information in accordance with the Center for Disability Services’ rules and regulations, and federal regulations and state statutes of privileged information for requests from insurance companies, attorneys, patients, subpoenas and other parties.
- Ensures the copying, faxing and/or mailing of information is completed and organized accurately and maintains a log of when the copying, faxing, and/or mailing was sent.
Requirements :
- Position requires routine lifting, bending, pushing, pulling in the course of handling files and supplies, etc. up to 15 – 25 lbs.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Required:
At least 2 years of job related experience, specifically in Medical Records

Compensation Range:
$20.40 - $22.44Salary : $20 - $22
