Job Overview
This position is responsible for direct service to clients with mental health issues to include crisis care, goal directed behavioral interventions and direct supervision of clients.
Responsibilities
- Work one on one proactively with clients on treatment plan goals outlined by treatment team
- Provide support and/or supervision to clients in activities of daily living or in maintaining daily routines critical to a stable lifestyle
- Support client in community activities as needed and appropriate.
- Promote recovery concepts and the vision of independent living to clients
- Assist clients with medications as directed by treatment team
- Monitor and document progress toward meeting specific treatment plan goals
- Provide support and supervision during client crisis
- Facilitate psychosocial groups
Required Qualifications
- Background void of any issues related to abuse or neglect
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license and favorable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of social service resources
- 1 year human services college course work or 1 year experience in human service field or combination of both
- Experience motivating/advocating for persons with disabilities
- Experience with program development and delivery
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.42 - $16.83 per hour
