What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Volunteers Needed position at The Center for Contemporary Art?
The Center for Contemporary Art is a vibrant regional art center with studio art classes, a summer art camp, rotating exhibitions and community partnership programs.
Art classes for children and adults are offered in painting (oils, acrylic and watercolor), ceramics, pottery, drawing, pastels, photography and more. Exhibitions of contemporary art are presented in three galleries, as well as annual members’, international juried and youth art month exhibits. Community partnership programs bring art experiences to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, at-risk youth, seniors, adults with disabilities and people affected by cancer.
The Center is located in a fully-accessible facility in Bedminster, Somerset County in Central NJ with convenient access to routes I-78, I-287, and 202/206.

At The Center we take great pride in our perennial gardens. We receive frequent comments from visitors on their beauty and they serve as inspiration for the many artists in our classes! Our gardens have been certified a wildlife habitat! Our gardens need you! We are searching for volunteers who can dedicate two or more hours each week to help with the watering, pruning, mulching, weeding and upkeep.
