About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Employment & Career Coach to support individuals in reentry and workforce development programming. This role focuses on helping participants build practical job readiness skills, secure employment, and take meaningful steps toward long-term stability.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours and the opportunity to grow with the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate vocational soft skills groups (communication, professionalism, workplace behavior)
- Assist participants with resume development and job applications
- Support participants in job search strategies and online applications
- Conduct employer outreach to identify job opportunities for participants
- Track participant progress and engagement
- Collaborate with clinical staff as part of a structured support model
Qualifications
- Experience in workforce development, job coaching, case management, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with justice-involved or high-barrier populations
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple participants
- Basic computer skills (email, job boards, resume tools)
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-Time: Approximately 10–20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling (some evening availability may be helpful)
- Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
