What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Occupational Therapist / COTA - Saturday Availability position at The Center for Children?
CCSN Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist/ Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team.
The Center is located in Farmington and Glastonbury, CT and utilizes a center-based model to provide occupational therapy services for children and adults with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for implementing patient treatment plans as derived from standardized assessments. This candidate will work collaboratively with other Center providers, families, and clients to ensure positive outcomes and to promote the health and well-being of the client.
A minimum of one-year previous pediatric experience is preferred. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing occupational therapy services
- Assisting in the development of treatment targets
- Maintaining accurate records of treatment and billing
- Educating clients and their caregivers on home programs
- Demonstrating effective communication skills
- Collaborating with other service providers
The successful candidate will develop a schedule that aligns with the clinic’s patient needs and the candidate’s personal availability.
Interested candidates must be available to work on Saturdays during the Clinic's hours of 8:00 - 3:00
