What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Group Facilitators position at The Center for Child and Family Advocacy, Inc.?
The Clinical Group Facilitator is a part-time position, reporting to the Clinical Services Director and/or Clinical Outreach Supervisor.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Conducts a bio-psychosocial diagnostic assessment with clients to determine necessary treatment services and provides information to clients regarding this treatment.
· Schedules group counseling sessions and group sessions within the designated timeframe established by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services standards, CARF standards or The Center for Child and Family Advocacy, Inc.’s standards.
· Collects agency fees from clients as directed by the Finance Department.
· Completes all documentation for each client’s session that contains general activities of service, interventions of the provider, goals addressed in the Individual Service Plan, and client’s response and insights to provider’s intervention and recommendations. All necessary paperwork is due within agency timeframes.
· Assists with developing transition plans at the outset of treatment and as part of the Individualized Service Plan.
· Completes all necessary paperwork within the timeframe established by Ohio Mental Health and Addition Services standards, CARF standards or The Center for Child and Family Advocacy, Inc.’s standards within Electronic Health Records system and paper file.
· Ensures that there is a current Individualized Service Plan for each client receiving services completed when due, as well as all subsequent surveys, ISP reviews and DA updates.
· Ensures current releases of information to community agencies, family members, or others are completed and is responsible for updating those every six (6) months.
· Maintains client files in a manner that meets the standards of the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and CARF Accreditation.
· Contacts referral agencies via telephone or written correspondence if problems have developed regarding court-ordered clients.
· Completes a monthly evaluation by the 5th of each month if requested by local referral agencies, including client’s progress, concerns, attendance and recommendations regarding the client.
· Provides support to agency clients by referring them to other service providers in the community.
· Participates in peer reviews on a quarterly basis.
· Participates in clinical and agency staff meetings as scheduled.
· Maintains agency’s productivity rate.
· Attends conferences, training sessions and workshops.
· Reports to the Executive Director or Clinical Services Director any personal arrests or convictions or involvement in any legal issues while employed by the agency.
· Serves as a mandated reporter of abuse and neglect-related incidents involving minors.
· Maintains current State of Ohio licensure.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Services Director.
· Completes clinical TF-CBT training within 30 days of hire date.
· May need to travel to various agency offices as requested to perform job duties.
The Clinician must possess the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field or equivalent required, Master’s degree preferred; current State of Ohio licensure required; high level of initiative; mature judgement; self-discipline; willingness to assume responsibility, be a part of a team; excellent organizational, time management, computer, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal); the ability to work independently, be attentive to detail, deal with time constraints and deadlines, multi-task, and perform a wide variety of duties with a diverse population; a non-violent philosophy in personal relationships; and an understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
