About the position
The Mental Health Therapist provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children and families involved in adoption, foster care, kinship, and guardianship systems. This position is specifically seeking a therapist for the Burtonsville, Maryland location. This position is a hybrid position, with a few days per week in the office and a few days of remote work. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering trauma informed, attachment focused care while collaborating with relevant service systems. The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in a related field, maintains an active independent clinical license, and has several years of experience working with diverse populations, preferably within child welfare. The position offers flexible scheduling, clinical supervision, continuing education opportunities, and professional development support, along with required training in adoption of competency and telehealth.
LOCATION:
Burtonsville, MD and remote
Note: This is a hybrid position. 2-3 days will be in person in the Burtonsville, MD office, and the other days will be virtual/remote.
