Responsibilities include:
· Providing direct, resident-centered nursing care.
· Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
· Coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
· Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
· Monitoring resident health, documenting observations, and responding to changes in condition.
· Educating residents and families on care plans.
· Ensuring rooms are ready for new admissions and participating in orientation.
What you'll bring:
· Current, unencumbered RN license.
· Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
· Ability to make independent decisions and strong communication skills.
· Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and long-term care regulations.
· Patience, tact, and a positive attitude, especially with elderly and diverse populations.
· Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Physical Demands & Environment:
· Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
· Cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
· May work beyond normal hours, including call-back during emergencies.
· Exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and hazardous chemicals is possible (standard for healthcare).
