RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

The Admissions Specialist at The Center A Place of HOPE serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients, providing compassionate help, guidance, and support throughout the admissions process and related outreach initiatives. This role conducts intake calls, gathers background information, and helps determine program fit ensuring each client experiences The Center’s Whole Person Care approach from the first contact. The specialist also engages in outreach efforts to connect with individuals, families, and referral partners, offering clear information about available programs and services.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in admissions, sales, and client relations, demonstrating the ability to engage others with empathy, professionalism, and trust-building communication.
  • Background in behavioral health, healthcare, or counseling preferred.
  • A strong understanding of client care dynamics and confidentiality practices.
  • Alignment with The Center’s mission and Whole-Person Care philosophy, with a heart for helping individuals find hope and healing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, social services, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a client-focused environment.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

  • Schedule: This is a full-time (40 hours per week), W-2 position. Schedule options can be discussed and are available within the hours of 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
  • Pay: $30 - $33 per hour starting pay (negotiable based on experience).
