Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and ensuring the bar area remains clean and organized throughout service.
- Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables or designated areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Help prepare food items as needed, including basic garnishing or assembling simple dishes to expedite service.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and processing payments accurately when required.
- Maintain excellent communication with team members to coordinate service flow efficiently during busy hours.
- Uphold food handling safety standards and cleanliness protocols in all tasks performed.
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure a spotless environment at all times.
- Previous experience in food preparation, catering, or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing.
- Experience working in nightclubs, banquet events, or hotel food service environments is a plus.
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly while adhering to health regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities to interact positively with guests and team members.
