Duties
- Lead and mentor bartending staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality drinks and exceptional customer service
- Oversee bar operations, including opening, closing, inventory management, and cleanliness standards
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction
- Coordinate with kitchen and catering teams for banquet events, special functions, or nightclub services
- Monitor sales performance, track beverage costs, and implement strategies to maximize revenue
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with fine dining or nightclub experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability in sales techniques and customer service excellence
- Experience in serving at banquets or catering events is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food industry best practices, and beverage preparation techniques including brewing skills
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to cash handling, food industry transactions, and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong communication skills with a personable approach to guest interactions
