Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a clean and inviting dining space for guests.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in basic culinary duties.
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely bussing, setup assistance, and cleanup.
- Uphold food handling safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures at all times.
- Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen, dining area, and service stations to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving quickly.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during high-pressure situations.
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or catering is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A genuine interest in hospitality, culinary arts, or hotel operations is highly valued.
