Laundry Attendant - Per Diem
Hours-7am- 3:30pm / Days - as needed
The Cedars is looking for an experienced, customer-focused, full-time Laundry Aide in our short-stay rehabilitation and skilled nursing care center. At The Cedars, we work together to provide quality, person-centered care to the older adults we serve in a compassionate setting. As a Laundry Aide, you will perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, or as directed by your supervisor. You will assist in assuring that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and that an adequate linen supply is always on hand to meet the needs of our residents. report directly to the Manager of Environmental Services.

Laundry Attendant Requirements and Duties:
Assure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
Assure that established infection control and universal precaution practices are maintained when performing laundry procedures.
Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to your supervisor.
Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
All other duties assigned as stated in job description
Excellent customer service skills.
Minimum 1-2 years’ Experience preferred
