This position assists in overseeing fine dining operations, including supervising service staff, coordinating reservations and seating, and ensuring that all food and beverage offerings meet established quality standards. The role involves monitoring service flow, supporting menu presentations, and maintaining an elegant atmosphere that aligns with the community’s upscale environment. The Assistant Director collaborates with culinary and service teams to uphold food safety standards, manage training and coaching, and address Member feedback to continuously improve service. This individual also helps with scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day problem solving to ensure smooth and efficient dining room operations.

Qualifications
- Strong Food & Beverage knowledge and experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings.
- Demonstrated commitment to Food Safety, including adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport and respond thoughtfully to Member needs.
- Experience in Training and coaching dining staff, including onboarding and ongoing skill development.
- Proven Team Leadership abilities, with skill in scheduling, delegation, and performance support.
- Prior supervisory or assistant management experience in restaurants, hotels, clubs, or senior living communities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and a focus on consistency in service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on dining operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, culinary, or management coursework or certification is a plus.
