POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Manager, Procurement is responsible for overseeing the contract process, state licensing, vendor negotiations, supplier management, travel management, facilities management, IT budget management, corporate projects, and auditing. In addition, they oversee all company expenditures and work closely with Finance to maintain budgetary controls.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitors all company expenditures by ensuring adherence to published purchasing and vendor management policies.
- Manages vendor and supplier relationships relating to new or ongoing needs for the organization, including RFPs, contract negotiations/renegotiations, property/facility maintenance, etc.
- Ensures adherence to travel policies and procedures for all associates required to travel, including expense reports, international/domestic travel services and any other services required.
- Works in conjunction with the Business Operations Managers to maintain facility upkeep, by working closely with property management team to manage facilities vendors and facility management requests.
- Oversees the process for all company contracts and negotiates directly with prospective vendors.
- Audits key vendors on a periodic or as-needed basis to ensure compliance with organization’s requirements to maintain contract status.
- Generates and presents company spend reports and analyzes cost-savings opportunities for the organization.
- Communicates with the Finance department to maintain budgetary controls and to monitor spend.
- Participates in executive and senior-level meetings to help facilitate projects and oversee their execution.
- Manages the CCS mailroom operations and staff for the Norwood office.
- Works closely with IT to understand their needs and establish appropriate vendor relationships.
- Works directly with Executive team to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
- Manages direct and indirect reports in a fair and equitable manner.
- Ability to maintain a consistent and regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule.
- Ability to work onsite/in-office and in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-10 years of management experience with a focus in Finance, Insurance or Banking preferred.
- Direct experience working in multiple roles/verticals within an organization is preferred.
- Strategic sourcing and vendor management experience across multiple categories is required.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts across diverse spend categories.
- Project Management experience required, certification optional but highly preferred.
- Must have proven staff oversight and management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Must have strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.
- Knowledge of building and maintenance systems, vendor management.
- Proven experience managing in both direct and dotted line environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Finance or Accounting major preferred.
FLSA: Exempt Salary Range: $125,000-$140,000/yr
