Cathedral School of St. Jude in St. Petersburg is looking for a qualified teacher assistant. All candidates must have started or possess DCF's 40 clock hours, and experience in teaching at the early childhood level. CDA is a plus. Pay will be based on education and experience. The available position is between 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. The teacher assistant position requires you to work with four-year-old students. This is a permanent, full-time position with benefits.
Requirements:
Must have 40 hours DCF training, plus 5 hours of literacy.
Must have level 2 background screening in DCF portal.
Must love working with young children.
- Teaching experience required.
Confidence in working with children, parents and fellow staff members.
Able to work positively under the guidance and supervision of administration.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to relate positively with young children
Completion of a Level II fingerprint/background screening clearance is required before a start date.
