This is a physically demanding, active role. You will be on your feet most of the shift, regularly bending lifting cleaning and moving throughout the day this is not a desk job it’s hands-on meaningful work.
Duties
- Feed, water, and assisting in the administering of medications to cats
- General cleaning, including floors, dishes, laundry, and organization
- Cleaning and maintaining litter boxes (scooping, scrubbing, and resetting)
- Lifting and restocking litter, food, and other supplies
- Monitor cats’ behavior and health and reporting concerns
- Provide enrichment activities such as playtime, socialization, and comfort to promote mental stimulation
- Assist with grooming tasks including brushing and nail trimming as needed
- Handling cats of all personalities - including shy, sick or “spicy” cats
- Supporting adoption visits and interacting with volunteers
- Moving between different parts of the Ranch throughout the day
Experience
- Prior experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic, kennel, or pet care setting is preferred
- Experience with pet grooming, pet sitting, or veterinary technician duties enhances your ability to excel in this role

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
