As part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining store presentation, managing transactions, and promoting products through upselling and demos. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and returns
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stock levels
- Restock shelves and ensure the store is clean, organized, and inviting
- Handle cashiering duties including processing payments accurately using retail math skills
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist in inventory management through stocking and inventory checks
- Processing ingoing and outgoing shipments
- Support supervising staff during busy periods or special promotions if applicable
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
- Knowledge with TCGs, D&D, or other tabletop games.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining attention to detail
