Job Description:

As a Warehouse Lead at our Brownsburg location, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role requires a highly organized and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.

Compensation Range: $20-25/Hour Benefits

(Compensation Varies Based On Experience And Education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment:
• Assist with unloading trucks using forklift or by hand and checking in merchandise
• Efficiently and accurately assemble customer orders
• Prepare orders for shipment (palletizing, boxing, labeling)
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping instructions
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely and efficiently
• Inventory Management:
• Properly mark materials with identifying information
• Regularly weigh and count items to ensure accurate inventory
• Organize the warehouse and maintain orderliness
• Customer Service:
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure a safe and accessible warehouse environment
• Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures
• Prepare and verify shipping and receiving documents
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Preferred experience includes basic knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS) software and working proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for communication and task coordination.
