Position Summary:: Carroll School seeks math educators with a growth mindset and a true passion and commitment to lifelong learning. We are seeking candidates with experience and/or interest in teaching students with language-based learning differences and who are drawn to acquire the necessary competencies to successfully teach our type of learners. This is a temporary role from November 2025 through June 2026. Responsibilities:

• Teach four classes per day consisting of 8-12 students plus Flex Block
• Apply a multisensory, diagnostic, prescriptive approach to instruction
• Create highly focused, data-informed lesson plans specific to student’s needs
• Work with Middle School academic leadership team to develop and customize grade level curriculum through a culturally responsive lens
• Develop positive working relationships with all constituencies; students, parents, colleagues and administration
• Meet individually with students needing extra help
• Serve as advisor
• Supply to school administrators: grades, written comments, interim progress reports
• Participate in school sponsored professional development
• Work in extended day program for at least 1 session a year for the first three years Choices may include: supervised study hall, sports coaching, art, Bounders, Lower School enrichment, Maker Space Additional compensation for extended day work
• Perform other duties as required
