Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Miami, FL, for an Assistant Director at The Carrie Brazer Center for Autism. The Assistant Director will oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure the effective implementation of educational and therapeutic programs. Responsibilities include coordinating with teachers and therapists, managing student records, facilitating communication with parents, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Assistant Director will also be involved in stadd development, staff training, and planning school wide special events and activities.
Qualifications
experience in running a school it doesn’t necessarily have to be an autism school. I’m looking for someone who’s been an assistant principal at a private school.
- Experience in autism education
- Knowledge of Aba Therapy
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Experience in curriculum development and staff training
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education, psychology, or a related field
Previous leadership experience in a similar educational setting is a plus
