Medication Technician
The Carriages of Mt. Zion is growing our TEAM and we are currently looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We are seeking hard-working, dedicated individuals to work alongside a talented and focused nursing TEAM who enjoy working together and love serving our Residents on the 7pm-7am shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication reminders, treatments and other care while encouraging selfcare and independence.
- Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
- Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans.
- Assists Residents moving in and out, as assigned.
- Assists with laundry service.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
- Maintains clean, neat, comfortable safe environment for Residents, staff and visitors, including housekeeping services for Residents.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
- This job requires a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of experience
- CNA certification with a Certified Medication Aide Certificate is required.
- A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia training is preferred but not required.
