We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Assistant Manager/Cook to join our culinary team. As a Kitchen Manager/Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet the dietary needs of our guests while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

• Work with the Executive Chef to ensure proper preparation of a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus, ensuring all meals meet dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
• Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with and lead kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient kitchen operations.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment is required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Familiarity with dietary needs and restrictions is an asset for preparing appropriate meals.
• A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that delight guests.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
