PRN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Homedica is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive mental health services across a variety of settingsincluding in-home visits, assisted living and nursing facilities, post-acute care hospitals, and via telehealth. The ideal candidate would commit to a set schedule 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric services in home, facility, and telehealth settings
- Prescribe and manage medications and individualized care plans
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
- Perform evaluations and treat as appropriate.
- Participate in after-hours or on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana
- PMHNP Certification (Dual certified in Adult/Family and Psych is a plus)
- DEA license required
- Strong communication, decision-making, and clinical skills
- Comfortable working independently across diverse care environments
Preferred:
- Facility-based or post-acute care experience
- Prior psychiatric experience
- Experience in home health, hospice, or facility-based care
- Dual Certification willing to work in both an FNP and PMHNP role
- Familiarity with telehealth technology and EMRs
