Phoenix Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team. This position is ideal for a technician who thrives in a production-focused environment and is excited to work extensively with automated medication packaging technology — specifically the BD Parata SynMed system.

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and packaging medications for LTC facilities
- Manage inventory, including purchasing from wholesalers and understanding wholesaler contract terms
- Restock medications and monitor automation supply levels
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production area
- Follow all pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and LTC best practices
- Current Louisiana Certified Pharmacy Technician license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
- Solid understanding of pharmacy law, workflow, and medical terminology
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with automated packaging systems (SynMed preferred)
- Experience operating automation for multi-dose adherence packaging (preferred)
- Experience with wholesaler purchasing and familiarity with wholesaler contracts (preferred)
- Ability to analyze data to support inventory forecasting (preferred)
- Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software (desired but not required)
