What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Lead position at The Carlisle Group (TCG)?
Our client was established in 1888, is a manufacturer producing primarily aluminum, low carbon and stainless steel wire mesh and fine wire for industrial and consumer markets. Located in York County, they have two manufacturing plants twenty minutes apart.
They have retained our services to help them fill an important role in their Sales and Business Development group. We are looking for a strong Business Development Lead to come in and be the principal person for prospecting and pursuing new client leads, while managing the ongoing new business pipeline. This individual will be pivotal in their sales team responsible for developing proposals and presentations for best business capture, while collaborating with the companies customer service, sales, engineering and operational team members for successful onboarding of new business.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with sales prospecting technical products
- Experience with metals fabrication and/or the metals market
- Reading of technical drawings and schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ERP systems
- Ability to travel
