We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of full-cycle accounting, support audits, and partner closely with leaders across the organization to deliver insights that shape decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage full-cycle accounting entries including revenue, payroll, cash, and accruals.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements, resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Lead year-end financial audit preparation and support external auditors.
- Partner with our NetSuite vendor to maintain and enhance our accounting system.
- Review expenses for variances or unusual activity, providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to interpret month-end financial results.
- Support annual reporting requirements (1099s, property statements, sales/use tax, etc.).
- Mentor and guide accounts payable clerks and staff accountants.
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
- Assist with annual budgeting alongside the Controller.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting experience strongly preferred).
- Solid understanding of GAAP and external audit processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Oracle NetSuite experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
