Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant / Hospice Aide provides personal care services to hospice patients in their homes or facility settings, supporting comfort, safety, and daily needs as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
Schedule, Hours & Territory
• Standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Wayne and Oakland Counties (Michigan)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal care, hygiene, and comfort measures
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Support patients and families with compassion and respect
• Document care provided accurately and timely in the EMR HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
- Maintains the agency's mission, philosophy, and core values.
- Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures regarding operations/processes, including but not limited to those regarding patient care, patient complaints, incidents, safety, and emergency management.
- Always maintains patient confidentiality, including all HIPAA regulations.
Regulatory Requirements
- Licensed or registered in the state in which currently practices
- Must pass a criminal background check & MVR check.
- Completed health statements acknowledging the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Valid state drivers license.
- Proof of current automobile insurance.
- TB testing per agency policy
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate from an approved training and competency course.
